What is the EU Data Act?

The EU Data Act grants consumers new rights regarding data generated by connected products – including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, smart home devices and other IoT products.

Consumer Rights

When you purchase a connected product, you have the right to know:

Which data the product generates
Who has access to this data
For which purposes the data is used
How you can access your data or share it with third parties

Our Role as a Marketplace

smartport itself does not manufacture any of the connected products sold here. We are committed to making the legally required transparency information of the respective manufacturers available to you at the time of purchase or already before.

For this purpose, we provide access to the information made available by the original manufacturer in accordance with the Data Act.
