All products offered on smartport are subject to the statutory warranty. The respective merchant is liable for defects that existed at the time of delivery.
New products: 2 years from delivery
Used products: 1 year from delivery (if stated in the merchant sheet, otherwise also 2 years)
Within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed that a defect that has appeared already existed at the time of delivery. The buyer may choose between repair and replacement. If neither is possible or is disproportionate, the purchase price may be reduced or the contract rescinded.
In addition to the statutory warranty, merchants on smartport offer a commercial warranty. The minimum warranty period is 12 months and is stated in the respective product sheet.
Under the commercial warranty, merchants undertake to repair, replace or refund products with defects not caused by third parties.
