Every device comes with the full statutory warranty of 24 months from delivery — regardless of the product's condition. During the first 12 months the burden-of-proof reversal applies: if a defect appears, it is legally assumed to have existed at the time of delivery.
The warranty covers defects that existed at the moment of delivery — like malfunctions or hidden defects. It does not cover damage caused by normal wear, mishandling, or improper repairs.
Manufacturer guarantee vs. statutory warranty
The manufacturer guarantee (e.g. from Apple, Samsung) is an additional voluntary service from the maker — separate from the statutory warranty. Terms and duration vary by manufacturer. Both rights exist side by side.
